Executive Committee
The GEC is empowered and responsible for implementing the strategies approved by the board and for managing the affairs of the group. The committee is chaired by the chief executive designate and comprises the chief executive, the group finance director, the managing directors of each of the regions and the executives listed alongside. The committee meets regularly and deliberates, takes decisions and/or makes recommendations on all matters relating to the group’s strategy and day-to-day operations within its mandate. The mandate is set by the board and where appropriate, decisions and/or recommendations are
referred to the board or relevant board committees for final approval.
